I extremely like the book The Great Gilly Hopkins,so much to the extent that I decided to write a book review about it.
The story takes place in the 1970's.Galadriel Hopkins rides with her caseworker to her new foster home where William Earnest and Trotter live and will live with Gilly. Gilly soon finds that Mr.Randolph, the blind,black man across the street is friends with Trotter and has to eat dinner with Gilly, Trotter, and William Earnest. Gilly hates everything here, and wishes more than ever that her beautiful, godess mom will take her away. Then, by miracle, when Gilly finds money in Mr. Randolph's bookshelf, Gilly finds a way to make her way home.
